EWE FEEDS
Heygates produce a range of ewe feeds to suit all types of feeding and production system. All the rations are manufactured using only the best quality raw materials and have generous levels of vitamins and minerals added.

Calculi Ewe feeds should not be fed to lambs because the higher magnesium content can cause urinary calculi (stones) to form.
PREMIUM EWE 20 NUTS
5% OIL, 20% PROTEIN, 7.5% FIBRE
Available in loose bulk only.
A high energy high protein ration for feeding to top performing flocks. Premium Ewe will help to maintain condition before lambing and the quality proteins will help to maximise production post lambing.
Premium Ewe is not recommended for feeding to lambs.
SUPER EWE 18 NUTS
4.75% OIL, 18% PROTEIN, 8.5% FIBRE
Available in loose bulk only.
Super Ewe 18 is a high energy diet suitable for most production systems depending on the quality of forage available. The high protein quality of Super Ewe will promote milk production aflter lambing.
Heygates Super Ewe is not recommended for feeding to lambs.

A quality diet suitable for most feeding systems depending on the quality of forage available.
Heygates Flockmaster 18 is not recommended for feeding to lambs.
SHEEP 18 ROLLS
4.75% OIL, 18% PROTEIN, 8% FIBRE

A high energy 15mm roll designed for feeding on the ground or to ewes housed on straw.
Sheep Rolls are not recommended for feeding to lambs.
RUMINANT COARSE MIX
4% OIL, 16% PROTEIN, 11.5% FIBRE
Available in 20kg bags only
A highly palatable molassed coarse mixture suitable for breeding sheep and lambs.
No magnesium is added to this product so supplementation should be considered if a deficiency is likely.
SHEEP CONCENTRATE PELLETS
4% OIL, 34% PROTEIN, 5% FIBRE
Available in loose bulk only
A high quality protein concentrate containing only traditional protein sources with no urea added! Mix with cereals at 30% to give an approximate 18% protein finished ration.
Sheep Concentrate Pellets contain no added magnesium so they can be fed to ewes and lambs. Supplementation should be considered if a deficiency is likely.
Heygates lamb feeds have balanced protein and energy for lean growth and are highly palatable to promote early intake. High levels of digestible fibre are included for a stable digestive system.

MILKIVIT LACTO LAMB (LAMB MILK REPLACER)
25% OIL, 25% PROTEIN, 0.1% FIBRE
Milkivit Lacto Lamb is a high energy, whey based lamb milk replacer.
RAPID LAMB PELLETS
4.5% OIL, 18% PROTEIN, 8% FIBRE
Rapid Lamb Pellets are available in loose bulk or 20kg bags.
A high quality diet formulated to provide the balanced energy and protein requirements of young lambs. Rapid lamb can be introduced as a creep feed and may then be offered ad lib to finish lambs at 12 to 14 weeks of age if required. If fed ad lib to finish then a typical lamb will consume about 40kg of feed if still on the ewe or 70 to 80kg if weaned.
QUICK GROW LAMB PELLETS
4.5% OIL, 18% PROTEIN, 9.75% FIBRE
Quick Grow Lamb pellets are available in loose bulk.
Heygates Quick Grow can be used as a creep feed or fed ad lib to finish lambs at 12 to 14 weeks of age. If fed ad lib then a typical lamb will consume about 40kg of feed if still on the ewe or 70 to 80kg if weaned.
HOGGET NUTS
4.5% OIL, 16% PROTEIN, 12% FIBRE
Hogget Nuts are available in loose bulk and 20kg bags.
Heygates Hogget Nuts are designed to finish store lambs. They can be fed ad lib or rationed depending on the speed of finish required.
Hogget Nuts are also ideal for feeding to rams to boost condition prior to tupping.
LAMB FINISHER PELLETS
4.5% OIL, 16% PROTEIN, 12% FIBRE
Available in loose bulk only.
Lamb Finisher Pellets are a similar ration to Hogget Nuts but manufactured as a 3mm pellet to suit certain types of automatic feeding systems.
RAM & LAMB COARSE MIX
3.25% OIL, 17% PROTEIN, 6% FIBRE
Available in 20kg bags only.
A very palatable molassed coarse mix ideal for putting condition on lambs of all ages. May also be fed to rams needing a condition boost prior to tupping.
