THE HEYGATES PHEASANT FEED RANGE
Avatec is added to chick and grower feeds to help prevent coccidiosis. Feeds containing Avatec must be withdrawn at least 5 days before the birds are killed for human consumption.

Flubenvet (Wormer) at 2.4kg per tonne is available in No. 2, No. 3, No. 4 & No. 5. Flubenvet requires a veterinary prescription. Flubenvet treatment is recommended at week 3, week 7 and week 11 with no more than 3 weeks in between treatments to break the worm cycle.
Aurofac 250 at 1.2kg per tonne is available for a minimum order of 4 tonnes. Aurofac inclusion is by prescription only. Other inclusion rates available on request.
The natural feed additive Avipro is included as standard in the grower and breeder feeds.

The Grower Pellets are designed to take the pheasant from the mini pellet to release. This slightly more fibrous diet with fish oil acclimatises the gut to the type of food the bird will encounter when released. Feed from 4 to 8 weeks of age.

A drug free 3mm pellet suitable for feeding throughout the shooting season. Formulated with the correct energy/protein ratio to keep the bird fit not fat. Can be fed with a scratch feed of wheat.
